1 John 5:11-13
John 3:16 is perhaps the most familiar and well-known Bible verse in the world: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” The promise of eternal life in Jesus Christ is the glorious, blessed hope of every believer, and it constitutes the final article of faith in the Apostles’ Creed: “I believe in the life everlasting.”
 

1 Corinthians 15
The hymn “In Resurrection Bodies” proclaims, “O joy of resurrection, all sin and sorrow past, to see the face of Jesus, to be like him at last! Made perfect in his image, complete in Christ the Son, in resurrection glory we'll share the life he won.” When we confess, “I believe in the resurrection of the body,” we declare that we are saved from our sins unto our resurrected bodies for life everlasting.

1 Corinthians 15
The religious leaders known as the Sadducees denied the future resurrection of the body and even challenged Jesus on this point, but the Lord exposed their lack of understanding and upheld this biblical teaching. Apparently this doctrinal error of the Sadducees had crept into the Corinthian church – and the Apostle Paul set them straight with a powerful affirmation of the doctrine of the resurrection

1 John 1:5-10
In the Apostles' Creed we confess, "I believe in the forgiveness of sins." This assertion is an essential element of Christian truth – and yet, many people in our day deny the reality of sin, and therefore the need for divine forgiveness. Have you acknowledged your desperate need for God's forgiveness – and received it through faith in Jesus Christ?

1 John 1:5-10
The Apostle John wrote, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Divine forgiveness is assured for any and all who come to Jesus Christ alone confessing their sins by Faith and Repentance, and you can cling to this promise from Romans 8: There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 4:1-16
Many people dismiss the value and importance of the church and neglect the regular assembly of believers. But we cannot live under Jesus Christ as our Head if we separate ourselves from His Body, the church. The Communion of the Saints is the result of the Saints in Communion with Jesus Christ and one another, empowered by the Spirit of God and saturated with the Word of God.

Ephesians 4:1-16
The Apostles Creed states, “I believe in the Communion of the saints” – but it is not enough for Christian to merely confess this great truth. The church of Jesus Christ must actually manifest the reality of Christian love, unity, and fellowship, as we live out the Communion of the saints as a powerful witness before a watching world.

Ephesians 2:19-22
The church is not a physical building with a cross and steeple – it is a living spiritual body comprised of born-again believers throughout the world. Because true Christians believe in the invisible and triumphant “Holy catholic Church,” we intentionally commit ourselves and our families to the visible and militant Church by the Grace of God, for the Glory of God, to extend the Kingdom of God.

Ephesians 2:19-22
If you attend a Presbyterian, Baptist, or any other Evangelical church, you might wonder why we confess “I believe in the holy catholic church” in the Apostles' Creed. After all, wasn't the Protestant Reformation a reaction to the errors and unbiblical practices of the Roman Catholic church? What exactly do we mean when we declare, “I believe in the holy catholic church?”
